The Okanagan offers great year round fishing, with a
variety of species available at different times of the
(allowable keep-4- small mouth and large mouth combined)
- Year Round- Jaw extends to middle of eye, three short
spines on anal fin.
(allowable keep - 20) April- October – Mouth extends to
front edge of pupil.
- Year Round - allowable keep - Trout/Char: 5; but not
1 over 50cm
4 from streams (only 2 over 30cm)
And you must release: Bull Trout (Dolly Varden) from
Rainbow Trout- Small
Black Spots mostly restricted to above the lateral line
Year Round – “whiskers” beside mouth
- July – September - Large Scales, small black speckles
on back, no spots on tail.
